The Tennessee Business Roundtable (“the Roundtable”) membership has elected Dr. Nassar Nassar, founder, President, and CEO of Savant Learning Solutions and Virtual Academy, to be its Chair for 2026. He is based in Martin, Tennessee.

“The Tennessee Business Roundtable is the strategic meeting point for Tennessee’s top business minds to gather and turn bold ideas into our state’s economic reality. It is where we stop asking why a challenge exists and start engineering how we solve it together. I am honored to be a part of a group that doesn't just discuss the future of Tennessee business but helps build it. The TN Business Roundtable motto says it all, it’s not about us as individuals or companies, it’s about the future of Tennessee for all,” says Dr. Nassar about his Roundtable chair position.

A visionary leader and entrepreneur, Dr. Nassar has transformed the landscape of professional development by pioneering innovative training solutions for public safety professionals across the United States. His journey transitioning from a rural tech startup to a company with national reach serves as a powerful testament to his leadership and ability to navigate the unique challenges of building a business outside of major metropolitan areas.

With Dr. Nassar’s incredible passion for community leadership and team success, Roundtable President Pat Sheehy is grateful for the CEO’s vision he brings to the organization. “Our statewide organization is fortunate to have the support and insights of Dr. Nassar, a recognized business and community leader for West Tennessee – and now, as our Roundtable’s 2026 Chair, for all Tennessee. Chairman Nassar is a dynamic and effective executive who understands what drives business and economic success in our state, and we’re excited to have him guiding our organization to new heights throughout 2026,” says Sheehy.

Dr. Nassar has an extensive educational background. He holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Management from Capella University, an MBA from the University of Tennessee at Martin, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Bethel University. He is a firm believer in the power of team culture and mentorship, often operating by the principle: "It is not important why something can't be done, ask yourself how it can".
