Patrick J. Sheehy, President

As President of the Tennessee Business Roundtable, Pat Sheehy leads the organization’s strategic direction and public policy engagement efforts. He works closely with the Board of Directors, member executives, and public officials to ensure the Roundtable’s work remains focused, responsive, and aligned with the needs of Tennessee’s business community.

​​Pat brings to his Roundtable leadership role three decades of experience in nonprofit leadership and in government, legislative, political, and industry and corporate affairs. A thoughtful consensus-builder, he has anchored the Roundtable through change and growth as its chief staff executive since 2016. Before joining the Roundtable, Pat began his career in legislative roles in the U.S. House of Representatives and the National Restaurant Association, then led the government relations department of Lebanon-based Cracker Barrel Old Country Store for over a dozen years.​

Known for his calm approach and commitment to collaboration, Pat ensures the Roundtable remains what it was always meant to be: a platform where business leaders don’t just advise—they lead.

Carrie Huddleston, Events & Communications Manager

Carrie Huddleston is a strategic communicator who loves bringing people together and telling great stories. Over the course of her career, she has split her time between collaborating with small-businesses on their digital marketing strategies, event ideation and coordination, and diving into the fast-paced world of a public relations agency. That experience taught her how to keep a dozen balls in the air at once and adapt to any situation. She loves turning big, creative ideas into smooth, successful realities.

A Northern California native and Middle Tennessee State University graduate, Carrie’s experience spans everything from running her own digital marketing business to managing large-scale events for crowds of over 2,000. Whether she’s drafting media materials, designing content funnels, or managing event budgets, she thrives on building community and making connections seamless.

Now based in Nashville, Carrie is excited to channel her agency agility into her work at the Roundtable, ensuring every event and communication feels both effortless and impactful for its members.
