Tennessee Business Roundtable Announces Three Appointments to Board of Directors

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Aug. 4, 2026) The Tennessee Business Roundtable announced the addition of three member executives to its board of directors for the remainder of the 2026 term on Tuesday. The three newest directors were appointed by 2026 Board Chairman Dr. Nassar Nassar, founder and CEO of Savant Learning Systems Inc.

“Kristie, Ryan and Eddie each bring a unique perspective to our Roundtable’s board, from the staffing, insurance brokerage, and architectural and engineering industries, respectively,” said Nassar. “Adding their voices to our Roundtable’s member leadership also enhances the level at which the priorities and concerns of business leaders from West, Middle and East Tennessee are represented equitably within our outstanding board,” he added.

Joining Nassar and the eleven other directors for the remainder of the 2026 term are:

• Regional Vice President, Middle Tennessee: Ryan Rothrock, Executive Vice President of Brown & Brown of Tennessee, Brentwood

• At-Large Director - Policy: Eddie Jett, CEO of MBI Companies, Knoxville

• At-Large Director - Policy: Kristie Puffer, Chief Operating Officer of

  Manpower Mid-South, Jackson

Rothrock, previously an at-large director of policy, will step into the regional vice president seat formerly held by Michael Fann of Franklin-based Public Entity Partners, elected by the membership in June to serve as Chair-Elect for the remainder of the 2026 term. Jett, a former Roundtable board director, assumes the seat vacated by Rothrock, while Puffer takes over an at-large director seat vacated earlier this year.

Director Rothrock will provide guidance and support recruitment efforts in Middle Tennessee as the regional vice president, while Directors Jett and Puffer will provide insight and help drive the Roundtable's policy agenda.
